Wu Nina, a girl pursuing her beautiful movie dream who came all the way from the country to the big city, until she fell into a nightmare mixed with horror and suspense from a role audition. She suffered from humiliation and sexual harassment by the paranoid director, the indifference of the agent, and the unprofessional attitude of the assistant. In the end, it turned into horrified mental breakdowns. The story leads to the plot of gender and power issues. It criticizes the underlying rules in the show business, which reveals the hideous memories along the way to pursue a dream…

Director Biography
Midi Z
Midi Z, Taiwanese film director who was born in Myanmar. He immigrated to Taiwan for education at the age of 16. Followed by accomplishing his master degree in design, he became a permanent resident in Taiwan. He is one the few directors in Taiwan’s film industry whose works focus on Myanmar. His first feature film Return to Burma was nominated for several awards in Busan International Film Festival. Afterward, both of his continuous works Ice Poison and The Road to Mandalay have frequently obtained well reputations and nominations. Nina Wu was nominated for the Un Certain Regard Award in Cannes Film Festival, 2019.
