“Take the money or be enemy?”
Ray, a professional basketball player with a bright future, gets kicked out of the league due to his violent acts on the ball court. Just when he thinks his life can't get worse, he accidentally bumps into Ben, the Raincoat Bank Robber. Mistaken as Ben’s partner in crime, Ray has no choice than being on the run with Ben. Two men, with nothing to lose, decide to work as partners and rob another bank!
“The Scoundrels” is considered to be the best Taiwanese martial art action movie filmed in the last decade. Director Hung has studied action thrillers for years and utilized the use of different shooting angles and editing to simulate impressive video game style fight scenes in the film. A few action scenes in the Taiwanese local alley also have an unique authentic touch.

Graduated from Department of Radio, Television & Film of Shih Hsin University, Director Hung is known for his experience in filming action thrillers. His short “Out of Line” (2014) received Taiwan Youth Film Festival Bronze Award. His length feature debut, “The Scoundrels” (2018), is well received by the audience, and has open up a new door for Taiwanese style action thriller.
